Further to our letter to Members dated 6 November 2023 we have had some enquires from Members on the selection process involved in the decision to change the Fund’s administrators from Liberty Life to Ensimini.

The Board of Trustees wish to assure Members that a rigorous tender process was followed whereby all large fund administrators were invited to tender. Eight of these chose to submit a tender which was then shortlisted down to four possibilities. Following physical presentations and a review of pricing, BEEE status, experience, proximity and size, as well as follow up interviews to address specific questions, the Board decided to award the tender to Ensimini Administration Services.

At the beginning of 2022, Liberty Life informed the Fund that they would be discontinuing administration services to free standing funds such as the UWRF. After a thorough screening process, the Board have appointed Ensimini Administration Services to take over the administration from 1 January 2024.
